Richard Bausch is an amazing storyteller and a great teacher. I had the good fortune to be in a workshop he taught with Jill McCorkle at Sewanee a couple of years ago. The students in Memphis will be lucky to have him. He's a hoot.

Happy Booker

I agree. I studied under him at Mason. He will be missed. thb

I've never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Bausch, aside from hearing him read. But I'm happy for him. Memphis is a fun town, with much on the up and up as far its art community goes (it's not all House of Blues and Elvis, believe it or not). His leaving's a big loss for Mason, and the D.C. writing community.

Now, I must say the Art packs beat Dora at CMoM by a mile! A great article--but I wish I could get a hold of those packs 'round here: sounds fun.
